Born in Western Malaysia of Chinese parents, the artist lives and works in Glasgow, making regular trips to South East Asia.
2008 Winner of the City of Yan Tai Public Sculpture competition. Monumental
sculpture to be fabricated and installed during 2008.
2007 Commissioned by the Chinese Government to produce a monumental
steel sculpture in celebration of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The piece
is placed close to the new National Stadium designed by Herzog and
de Meuron.

1997 Selected by Glasgow Museums to travel to India to study tigers in
their natural habitat - the only non figurative artist to be included
on the trip.
1995 Selected by the Foreign Office to be one of the subjects of the
'My Britain' series of documentary films.
